the Fork in the Road, at Georgian College
In this gripping 18 minute excerpt from
his keynote speech at Georgian College, Jeff Moore shocks his
audience when he reveals the truth about his college days.
Living on his own in residence, with a full bank account and no
supervision, his choices set him on a path of self destruction.
Staring into the abyss of failure, he took responsibility for
his life and put it back on track. Now, back at the fork in the
road (college), where he made his wrong turn, he greets 1st year
students with an honest, wrenching, often funny, and definitely
inspiring truth about the life altering choices that lay ahead.
Encouraging them to believe in their own potential, he rocks the
house with the chant, “I am large and I’m in charge”. His book
is often read by adults who find his message inspiring.
